Resolving unreliable 100 Series remote pairing
This answer applies to:

- R810
Under normal circumstances once paired the 100 Series Bluetooth remote maintains a good connection with its host unit and even when it enters powering saving mode (usually after 20 minutes of inactivity) it should quickly reconnect once any button or the control knob is operated.
If you are finding that your 100 Series remote is losing connection, then this is likely due to a corrupt pairing. To fix this, we recommend the following procedure.
1/ From any source, press the Menu button (the one with three lines on it), scroll to and select System settings, then Remote, then Clear pairing list and finally select Yes.
2/ Now, disconnect your unit from mains power and leave for around 1 minute for energy in the system to dissipate and then reconnect power and wait for the system to power back up and you see the source menu displayed.
3/ Next again press the Menu button, scroll to and select System settings, then Remote and then Pair remote, but do not yet select until you have put your remote into pairing mode. To do this, press and hold down the back and forward buttons together until the LED flashes slowly and then select Pair remote on the main unit. Once the remote and main unit are paired, Remote paired will be displayed on the screen and the LED on the remote will stop flashing, showing that pairing has been successful.
Follow this procedure carefully and a strong and reliable connection should now be established between the remote and main unit.
